India is like a spice masala; you never know which 3 other spices it consists of but it’s always very spicy and aromatic.
Delhi is a place where we started our adventure. On the first day we were lucky to have a guide – our friend from Poland who works in the embassy. He showed us around and he taught us such important things as how to negotiate a price at a bazaar, how to take a riksha for an “Indian price”, what and where to eat and where not to.
Although we were prepared for a little culture shock we experienced it anyway. Zuza is amazed by a mix of wonderful colors, smells of delicious food, spices with poverty, homeless people on the streets, cows, monkeys, bad smells, beggars, etc. I have to tell you one thing; India is crazy! But we both love it!
Today we gonna celebrate New Years Eve in an Indian-Polish style. First shots of vodka in Polish embassy, than we will move to the center of Delhi. We wish a happy new year to the rest of the world!
So here we go! Andrzej and Zuza – we are like brother and sister, we used to sleep in the same cradle, now let’s see if we can survive 6 weeks together… :) Welcome to our blog about trip to India!
Rat-a-tat is a series of short sharp sounds, as that made by knocking on a door.
